Our birthday parties are offered on weekend afternoons from 2:30-4:30pm so you can have a leisurely morning before rushing off to the festivities. Our space is full of colour and art supplies, making it feel like a celebration from your first step in the door.
For parties, we offer four different kid-pleasing packages:
• The Very Fine Artist ~ visual art activities
• Shakespeare in Tune ~ drama & musical theatre
• The Downward Drawing ~ yoga and art
• On Stage with a Paintbrush ~ drama and art
Whatever your child’s favourite colour, the party will be green.
We run all of our programs with as little harm to the environment as possible. All art workshops use recycled paper and non-harmful paints. Our scissors and paint brushes are second-hand or made with recycled materials, and we re-use our paint palettes. In addition – we leave all decorations up to the parents. As far as table cloths, balloons, decorations etc., we don’t provide any of these – as we like to air on the side of ‘minimalist’. We do however, have re-usable plates and cups in the on-site kitchen facility that can be put directly in the dishwasher afterward.
Most deliciously, we serve organic, nut-free birthday cupcakes at the end of the party.

Party pricing and booking
To book a birthday party with the Centre for Art & Soul, you need a minimum of 10 kids (and a maximum of 17). The cost is $29 per child and includes cake and materials. We ask for $150 deposit when booking the party, and the rest you may pay on the day.

If your child is sick – we know it happens – you can call up to 24 hours before the party to reschedule, according to our availability. Participants cancelling one week prior to the date will be refunded their deposit, less a $30 administration fee. Beyond this date all deposits are non-refundable.
