Yoga for Kids
Studies show that yoga raises self-esteem in children and relaxes them in the face of fear, difficult emotions and stress. It also cultivates a sense of compassion, empathy and concern for others. With today’s disturbing reality of childhood obesity combined with an increase in sedentary activities such as computer and videos, as well as the increase in children’s eating disorders, yoga is a wonderful way to help children to exercise, develop body awareness and gain positive self-image.

Visual Arts Classes
Our weekly after-school Art Studio supports children in developing new skills and talents. During each 8-week session, students will delve into a wide variety of themes and unexpected subject matter – ‘Intro to Art History’, sculpture, drawing, painting and mixed media-based concepts are some of the topics covered. This program is perfect for the child who wants to learn many art techniques and to bring home the most diverse and imaginative projects.

Performance and Theatre Arts Classes
Whether your child is the class clown or simply enjoys self-expression in a safe environment, our performance classes encourage learning that can be used in a full spectrum of life situations. We use a process and not product-oriented curriculum, which means we teach children that the quality of process is more important than the end result. Our programs open the children’s mind, potentially tap into hidden talent, encourage original expression – and can be the most fun they’ve ever had!

NEW! Animation Classes
Children nowadays are being exposed ever more to modern technology at younger ages. This offering discusses the history of animation right up to present day. The course also combines creative with technology so that kids get a good grasp on what can be achieved when you put moving art together with a computer. With owner/teacher Lisa Kelly‘s background in animation of over 15 years, this class is sure to impress.
