Class and or age divisions are subject to change based on enrollment. Prices do not include 13% H.S.T. We are now currently accepting registration for our Spring Term. All classes qualify for the Children’s Art Tax Credit.

Our weekly after-school Art Studio supports children in developing new skills and talents while designing unique creations using a variety of mediums. Each of the weekly workshops are designed to integrate technique and art education with creative expression. During their 6 – 8 week session, students will delve into a wide variety of themes and subject matter using an array of fun and tactile materials and techniques. ‘Intro to Art History’, sculpture, drawing, painting and mixed media-based concepts are some of the topics covered. This program is perfect for the child who wants to learn many art techniques, while creating diverse and imaginative projects. To see some past art workshops examples, go here. Art smocks are not provided. Please ensure students are dressed appropriately for art workshops.

Each class is 1.5 hours in length, from 4:15 – 5:45 pm. We ask that participants bring a light, nut-free, nutritious snack, as we will take a brief break midway through each workshop.

The Centre organizes end-of-term art exhibits both at the space and public venues. Stay tuned for announcements and information in our monthly newsletter.

Art Explorers! Drop-In/Drop-Off Workshops are offered Saturdays alternating with Sunday mornings (see calendar) – of different themes and are 1.5 hours long. Classes range from painting with acrylics and watercolours, to collage, sculpey (non – toxic), pastel drawing, print making, paper maché and 3d sculptures assembled with recycled objects. Each class is a drop-off time of 1.5 hours and is $25 including materials. Buy 4 in a package and receive 10% off for $90. Or register for 6 weekends in a row for $135.
